Product Description

Kittens require extra energy in the form of calories, fat and protein to fuel all of their growing, playing and discovering. We carefully formulated our Kitten Food recipe with these unique needs in mind. Ingredients like chicken and chicken liver provide increased protein and fat levels support the development of strong muscles, bones and organs. Whole fruits and vegetables like blueberries, cranberries and sweet potatoes provide vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to strengthen cells and protect against free radicals that cause disease.

Ingredients

Chicken, Chicken Liver, Chicken Broth, Carrots, Natural Flavor, Cranberries, Guar Gum, Ground Flaxseed, Potassium Chloride, Taurine, Salt, Menhaden Fish Oil (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Choline Chloride, Cassia Gum, Xanthan Gum, Iron Proteinate, Zinc Proteinate, Beta-Carotene, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin E Supplement, Copper Proteinate, Manganese Proteinate, Sodium Selenite, Niacin, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Potassium Iodide, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid, Magnesium Sulfate.

Directions

Feed according to the age, size and activity of your kitten. Feeding instructions given for 3 oz Can.

  • Up to 20 weeks, feed as much as your kitten will eat in 3 or 4 feeding per day.
  • From 21 - 30 weeks of age, feed about 2/3 can per lb of body weight per day.
  • From 31 - 52 weeks of age, feed about 1/2 can per lb of body weight per day.

Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Your cat should always have access to clean fresh water.

Transition Instructions

The best way to transition your cat onto a new food is to gradually introduce the new food by mixing it with the old grub. Mixing the two—and increasing the new food gradually—will allow your kitty's taste and tummy to acclimate to the new recipe.
