Product Description
Surolan Otic Suspension, 15 mL combines polymyxin B, miconazole, and prednisolone together to treat ear infections (otitis externa) and dermatitis in dogs. Surolan petmeds are effective against infections caused by yeast, fungi, and gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It also soothes itching and treats ear mite infestations.
Side Effects & Warnings
Do not use Surolan otic suspension in dogs with known perforated tympanum or with drugs known to induce ototoxicity. If overgrowth of non-susceptible bacteria or fungi occurs, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted. Long-term use of topical otic corticosteroids has been associated with adrenocortical suppression and iatrogenic hypoadrenocorticism in dogs. Side effects that may occur include topical sensitivity and reduced hearing or deafness. Other side effects may also occur. For otic use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Directions
Shake well before use. The external ear should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before treatment. Apply this medication exactly as directed by your veterinarian.
