Product Description

Pancrezyme is an enzymatic concentrate derived from porcine pancreas containing standardized lipase, protease and amylase plus esterasese, peptidases, nucleases amd elastase. It is used as a digestive aid in dogs and cats that do not adequately break down protein, carbohydrates, and fat because of an insufficiency of enzymes produced by the pancreas.

Side Effects & Warnings

Pancrezyme is a concentrate derived from whole raw pancreas of porcine origin, and therefore should not be given to pets allergic to pork. Pet owners should avoid inhaling the powder since it can irritate the mouth. If any of the following side effects occur, stop giving Pancrezyme and seek emergency veterinary medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling (lips, tongue, or face). Other side effects may also occur.

Lipase, Protease, Amylase

Other ingredients: Esterases, peptidases, nucleases and elastase

Suggested dosage: Dogs 3/4-1 teaspoonful for adult dogs with each meal. Cats 1/4-3/4 teaspoonful for adult cats with each meal. Mix well with moistened food (canned or dry) and let stand at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before feeding. Frequent feeding, at least 3 times daily is important.
