Adjust feeding amounts as necessary to maintain optimal weight. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian. For best results & safety practices: Gradually transition to your pet's new food over a 7 day period. Exclusively feed the recommended Prescription Diet dry food, canned food & treats. Keep fresh water available at all times. Have your veterinarian monitor your pet's condition.

Transition Instructions

To transition, mix your dog's current food with his new food. Over 7 days, gradually decrease the amount of the current dog food while increasing the amount of new dog food. Mix 25% of the new food in with 75% of the current food for the first 2 days, then mix 50% new food with 50% existing food for the next 2 days, then mix 75% new food with 25% current food for the next 2 days. By day seven, you can feed your dog 100% new food.
