Eukanuba Canned Dog Food Overview

This specific Eukanuba adult dog food recipe features high-quality protein sourced from chicken, beef, and pork products. Coupled with its wide range of vegetable ingredients (as well as essential vitamins/minerals), Eukanuba canned dog food (beef and vegetable stew formula) offers a complete nutritional profile for dogs of all breed types.

Eukanuba Canned Food for Enhanced Absorption of Ingredients

Generally speaking, canned dog food has numerous advantages over dry; it's easier to digest, it contains more protein, and dogs seem to enjoy it (over standard kibble-based recipes). If your dog has a history of malabsorption, switching to canned dog food (such as Eukanuba Adult dog food) might make all the difference when it comes to your dog's digestion-related issues.

Canned dog food also promotes weight loss (due to how nutrient-dense it is), contains far fewer carbohydrates than dry food, and reduces bloating (which is commonly seen in dogs that only consume dry food).

Transition Instructions

When your puppy is ready to switch to adult dog food, choose the same brand adult food you fed her as a puppy. Doing so will ensure she gets the same benefits as she did from her puppy food and make the transition easier. A gradual switch over a period of 4 days helps minimize intestinal upset. This same gradual switching of formulas should be done any time you change your dog's food. Here's a simple four day guide to help make the switch to adult dog food as seamless as possible: Day 1: Fill your dog's bowl with approximately 75% puppy food, 25% adult food . Day 2: Fill your dog's bowl with approximately 50% puppy food, 50% adult food. Day 3: Fill your dog's bowl with approximately 25% puppy food, 75% adult food. Day 4: Fill your dog's bowl with 100% adult food.
