Product Description
Drontal Plus for dogs is a prescription medication for the treatment of the most common worms: ring worm, tapeworm and whipworm. It is a broad spectrum dewormer that is given in a single dose as directed by your veterinarian. It can be used on puppies as young as three weeks of age who are over two pounds. Side Effects & Warnings
Side effects are rare. Let your doctor know if your dog is allergic to this medication. Vomiting, loss of appetite or diarrhea may occur. Tapeworms can be transferable to humans. Talk to your veterinarian regarding proper hygiene measures. Do not give Drontal Plus to your dog if they are taking another deworming medication unless directed by your veterinarian.

Praziquantel, Pyrantel Pamoate, Febantel
Directions
The medication is for use in small breeds and the dosage would be determined on the basis of body weight of animals. For small dogs/cats of 2-4 lbs of weight, half a tablet is the prescribed dosage; whereas, for animals weighing 5-7 lbs, it is one tablet; for animals weighing 13-18 lbs, it is two tablets, and for those up to 25 lbs the recommended is two and a half tablets. The medication could be mixed with food or can be provided orally.
