Side Effects & Warnings

It is not allowed to use the medication in animals that have allergic responses to any of the three components that are contained in the medicine. Do not use the medicine in pregnant animals. Let your doctor know if your dog is allergic to this medication. Vomiting, loss of appetite or diarrhea may occur. Tapeworms can be transferable to humans. Directions

The dosage of the medication is prescribed taking into consideration the body weight of the animal and the usually accepted proportion of dosages are - animals that are 26-30 lbs in weight can be given one whole tablet, 31-44 lbs one and a half tablets, and for animals up to 60 lbs in weight the prescribed dosage would be two full tablets. The duration of medication depends upon the condition of the animal being treated, and its response to the drug. While in medication, do not withhold food. The medication can be mixed with food or can be given directly by mouth.

Drontal Plus 68mg should be given in one dose, or as directed by your veterinarian. It is not to be given to dogs taking any other deworming medication.
